EDS Brno 2025 (with the affiliated NDS) was undoubtedly the biggest exhibition event of the year in our country. We attended all four days and truly made the most of it! Two days with the Belgian Shepherds, and another two with the Pharaoh Hounds.
The event was very well organized, with spacious rings and plenty of room around them—a rare luxury! (The national exhibition was a bit worse in that regard, to be honest.) There were countless food stalls and vendor stands, and the staff was friendly from Thursday to Sunday. Hats off to the diligent cleaning ladies handling pet accidents—everything was well taken care of. Overall, it was a great experience.
The big downside was the judging process. No one really knew why one dog placed second, third, or anywhere in between. I understand that with tens of thousands of dogs competing, there’s little time for detailed feedback in the ring, but a few words from the judges wouldn’t hurt. We didn’t even know our rankings until we checked online in Dog Office. That said, the online results were fantastic, and the free Wi-Fi in the venue was a huge plus!
We’re happy with our results—of course, winning would be amazing, but there were many nice dogs at the event, and only one can take first place.
Our black beauties held their own and performed admirably, earning excellent marks. Congratulations to the winners, sympathy to those who didn’t win, and looking forward to seeing everyone again somewhere, sometime! 
EDS Brno 2025 (s přidruženou NDS) rozhodně největší výstavní akce, letošního roku v naší republice. Byli jsme všechny 4 dny, tak jsme si výstavu užili dosyta 
, dva dny s belgičákama a další dva dny s faraošema. Tahle výstava byla velmi dobře uspořádaná, po dlouhé době opravdu prostorné kruhy a slušný prostor kolem nich (na národce to bylo horší, to zase abych nelhala). Milion stánku s jídlem a dalších nabídkových stánků, milá obsluha od čtvrtku do neděle, pečlivé paní od úklidu na nehody od pejsků, za mě moc fajn akce.
Velké mínus byl způsob posuzování, a to proto, že nikdo nevěděl za co byl druhý třetí a všelijaký. Chápu, že velká akce s desítkami tisíc psů nemá prostor na vykecávání se v kruhu a psaní posudku, ale dva tři slova od rozhodčího by nikomu neublížily. Nevěděli jsme co máme za známku až než jsme si to našli na internetu v dog office , to ale zase bylo super – že to bylo online ty výsledky a byla i free wifi v areálu.
S výsledky jsme spokojeni, jasněže kdo by nechtěl vyhrát, ale na akci bylo mnoho krásných jedinců a vyhrát může jen jeden a naši černouškové předvedli, že i na takové akci dokážou obstát s krásnými známkami. Gratuluji vítězům, soucítím s nevítězi, a těším se zase někdy někde na viděnou.
